During the fighting in the area of Avdeyevka industrial zone APU fighters took the strategically important post. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak.
“Our troops took the offensive and occupied an important position, which is of strategic importance. Unfortunately, among our servicemen have losses”, – said Poltorak.
The Ministry of defence DND reported that in a result of fighting in the area killed the battalion commander, and the loss of the Ukrainian side amounted to 15 dead and more than 20 wounded.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian security forces shelled the center of Donetsk, resulting in injuring one civilian.
