SBU prevented a terrorist attack in one of the colleges in the Cherkasy region … This was reported by the press service of the department.
It is noted that during the operational and investigative measures, the security forces exposed two students who were going to arrange a mass execution of their classmates.
Information about the planning of the terrorist attack young people published on Vkontakte. In particular, on a social network, they distributed photos and videos of their preparation for the execution. In addition, through social networks, the attackers urged them to join them in order to carry out joint massacre of students.
During searches at the residence of two students, law enforcement officers seized pistols, as well as computers and mobile phones. A criminal case was initiated under the first part of Article 14 (“Preparation for a crime”) and part one of Article 258 (“Terrorist act”).
Earlier, the SBU opened a criminal case on the preparation of a seizure of power by a group of Ukrainian and Russian citizens. At the same time, the department did not disclose who exactly is the suspect.
