The doctor called the dangerous consequences of drinking hot drinks in winter

RT: Doctors recommend caution when drinking too hot drinks in winter can damage the oral mucosa, esophagus and tongue. Such dangerous consequences were called by RT by general practitioner therapist Larisa Alekseeva.

According to her, due to the use of hot drinks, various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) can develop, and they, in turn, can lead to erosion , gastritis or ulcers, as well as oncology. In the case of a tongue burn, negative symptoms are noted for 12 to 24 hours, notes nutritionist and endocrinologist Alexei Kalinchev. He pointed out that against the background of chronic inflammation in the future there is a risk of developing oncological formations.

These consequences can be avoided by drinking drinks at a temperature of 60 degrees, the doctor noted.

Orthodontist Maria Balakireva exposed the negative effects of being too hot on the enamel, which can crack. It also happens that in case of irritation in the mouth after drinking hot drinks, stomatitis occurs.
