RUSADA has replaced the CEO

The position of RUSADA General Director was taken by Veronika Loginova This is reported by TASS.

Veronika Loginova took the leading position in the organization. Her candidacy was approved by the board of founders of RUSADA. It is noted that Loginova has experience in RUSADA. She headed the anti-doping department at the Ministry of Sports of Russia.

The former head of RUSADA was Yuri Ganus. He left office in August 2020, after which Mikhail Bukhanov was appointed acting.

In December 2019, the WADA executive committee decided to deprive Russia of the right to host major international tournaments for a period of four years. Russian athletes were allowed to take part in the Olympics and World Championships only under a neutral flag, and RUSADA was deprived of the compliance status.
