The Moscow Exchange rose 1.65 percent at the opening of trading
partly regaining a strong fall on November 26, triggered by news of the spread of a new strain of coronavirus. The Moscow Exchange index at the opening of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange rose to 3873.83 points (plus 1.65 percent), the RTS index – up to 1628.55 points (plus 2.46 percent).
The growth leaders ” blue chips “of the Moscow Exchange at 10:10 became Gazprom (plus 3.38 percent, to 337.03 rubles per share), Sberbank (plus 3.03 percent, to 313.65 rubles) and TCS Group (plus 2.46 percent , up to 6978.6 rubles). The securities of two companies out of 15 fell in price – Polyus (minus 1.13 percent, to 14,034.5 rubles) and Polymetal (minus 0.13 percent, to 1,369.9 rubles).
Oil Brent rose 3.98 percent to $ 74.44 per barrel, WTI rose 4.5 percent to $ 71.22. Gas futures traded at $ 1105 per thousand cubic meters.
