The Moscow Exchange Index rose 1.8 percent at the close of trading
The Russian stock market closed with the growth of the main stock indices on Monday, November 29. At the close of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, the Mosbirzh index rose to 3879.54 points (plus 1.8 percent), the RTS index – up to 1638.72 points (plus 3.1 percent).
Among the blue chips “Mosbirzh most of all increased the shares of Lukoil (plus 4.12 percent, to 6,636.5 rubles per share), Sberbank (plus 4.1 percent, to 316.9 rubles) and Gazprom (plus 3.62 percent , up to 337.8 rubles). The largest drop was shown by the securities of Polymetal (minus 2.68 percent, to 1,335 rubles), Polyus (minus 1.24 percent, to 14,018 rubles) and MTS (minus 1.17 percent, to 295.55 rubles).
Brent crude oil rose 3.23 percent to $ 73.9 per barrel, WTI crude oil rose 3.57 percent to $ 70.58. Gas futures were trading at $ 1,093.
