A man was arrested in the US for threatening a pizzeria with weapons

In mid-November, 63-year-old Charles Douglas Doty, Jr. ordered a Pepperoni pizza from a local establishment. The man asked the workers how long it would take to prepare the order. When he was told that the waiting time was about ten minutes, he laughed and demanded that they bring him bread sticks, and then left the pizzeria.

A few minutes later he returned armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle. According to former employee Kimberly Murrell, who worked that evening, Doty Jr. pointed a gun at her, threatened to shoot her, and asked, “Where is my pizza? I want my pizza! ”

“ I was really scared and couldn't believe that all this was happening because of the six-dollar pizza, ”said Murrell. She added that another visitor wanted to give the American his pizza to calm him down, but this did not resolve the conflict.

One of the workers managed to call the rescue service. When the police arrived at the scene, Doty Jr. had already left the pizzeria. However, he was soon caught, detained and charged with four cases of aggravated assault and one case of aggravated kidnapping.

Earlier it was reported that in the American city of Houston, Texas, two McDonald's visitors had an argument with the manager of the restaurant because of the salted potatoes and went to jail.
