Moscow police caught scammers who defrauded more than 50 clients for 100 million rubles – there are 11 suspects in the case. On Friday, November 26, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk reported to Lente.ru.
According to her, the attackers created a company that allegedly helped to amend the credit histories of citizens and obtain loans or credits on favorable terms. In fact, the criminals had no real opportunity to influence credit histories – they only entered into agreements with clients, and after receiving payment they stopped communicating.
According to operational information, there are more than 50 victims in the case, and the damage from actions attackers exceeded 100 million rubles.
At some point, the scammers came to the attention of the GUEBiPK police of the South-Western Administrative District of the capital. The leader of the group and ten ordinary participants were detained, searches were carried out at their places of residence, money, computers and various documents were seized.
