Ministry of Internal Affairs: in Krasnoyarsk, two police officers were detained for accepting a bribe of 300 thousand rubles in 300 thousand rubles, a criminal case was initiated. This was reported on Friday, November 26, to Lente.ru by the Main Investigation Department of the TFR in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.
According to the investigation, in September 2020, police detained a local resident who was selling drugs. By prior arrangement, they agreed to take 300 thousand rubles from a relative of the detainee. Having received the money, the police did not start a criminal case against the woman.
The fact of receiving a bribe was revealed by operatives of the own security service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A criminal case was opened against the detainees under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Taking a bribe by an official for illegal actions”). Now the investigation is establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
