Amazon hit by “rebel” activists

Environmental activists have blocked Amazon warehouses in Europe

Warehouses of the world's largest e-commerce company Amazon in Europe on Black Friday are being blocked by climate activists, writes Reuters. According to the Extinction Rebellion group, such sales are a blow to the environment.

“Black Friday embodies a culture of over-consumption, which is inappropriate if we want was fit for life, ”said activists who managed to block 13 of the company's warehouses in the UK, as well as in Germany and the Netherlands. They came up with the slogans “Black Friday exploits people and the planet” and “Growth is endless, the planet is not.”
