Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is ready to end the longstanding confrontation with Armenia
Conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the situation in Karabakh was thorough and sincere. This was stated by the leader of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
According to him, following the talks, the parties signed a joint trilateral statement. The politician added that the decisions made at the trilateral meeting in Sochi will contribute to a safer and more predictable situation in the South Caucasus.
Aliyev also noted that Azerbaijan is ready to turn the page of a longstanding confrontation with Armenia, to begin a stage of normal interaction.
