“The increase in the number of flights to Mexico will traditionally have a positive effect on the cost of transportation. The appearance of charter flights usually leads to a reduction in the price of tickets by 20-30 percent, “the expert said.
According to her, the demand for vacations in the republic continues to grow. In the near future, this destination may become no less popular than the Dominican Republic.
Lomidze noted that most often domestic travelers buy tours to Mexico for 7-10 nights with accommodation in four and five-star hotels with meals on all-inclusive system. At the same time, Russians prefer a beach vacation in the republic and also purchase excursions on the spot.
Earlier in November it became known that from December 1, Russia will lift restrictions on regular and charter flights to three popular resort countries – Cuba, Mexico and Qatar. It was also reported that the number of flights to Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Vietnam has increased since December 1.
