A man turned to the police with a statement about the theft. He indicated that personal property, jewelry and money had disappeared from the house of his elderly relative. Suspicion fell on a 53-year-old native of one of the neighboring republics, who was caring for a woman.

The suspect was detained. During a personal search, they found stolen things sewn into the lining of her outer clothing. Another part of the stolen, including a fur coat, was found in the suspect's bag.

Earlier it was reported that in Yekaterinburg, malefactors twice deceived pensioners under the guise of enumerators. The amount stolen amounted to half a million rubles. At first, an 83-year-old pensioner turned out to be deceived, who let two women into her apartment, one of whom was allegedly pregnant. The scammers asked the landlady about her savings and asked for one bill to rewrite her number. After calculating the place where the pensioner keeps the money, it turned out to be a cache behind the battery, one of the fraudsters distracted the hostess, and the other stole it. The second victim of the scammers was a 91-year-old pensioner who lives in another area of ​​the city.
