Israel called the timing of the recognition of “Sputnik V”

Izvestia: Israeli Tourism Minister Razvozov announced the recognition of Sputnik V before December 1

Israel will open for Russian tourists as expected December 1st. Until that time, the country is going to announce the recognition of the Sputnik V vaccine, Israeli Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov said in an interview with Izvestia.

The minister also called the conditions: only those who received the second dose will be able to enter Israel “Sputnik V” no more than six months ago. This is due to the fact that the Israeli authorities observed how in the citizens previously vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine, after five to six months, antibodies have already begun to decline, as a result of which the fourth wave of the pandemic began in Israel.

“So As on December 1, we want to allow your tourists to enter, I certainly hope that at least five days before that – November 24-25 – we will already have a clear plan, ”Razvozov said.

According to him, the Israeli authorities already have experience, when everything seemed to have been worked out until November 15, but at the last moment legal and technical problems were discovered. “We urgently flew here at the request of the Prime Minister in order to develop a comfortable mechanism for the entry of tourists from Russia to Israel,” the politician explained.

Earlier, the Israeli Ministry of Health approved the procedure for the entry into the country of foreign tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V … Vaccinations must be delivered no earlier than 14 days before the start of the trip and no later than six months at the time of its completion. In addition, a visit to Israel is allowed for citizens who received the first dose of Sputnik V no earlier than two weeks before the start of the trip.
