According to the financier, in the case of planning funds not only for the restoration of the country's industry and infrastructure, but also for the restoration of roads and housing and communal services, the amount of $ 200 billion is far from the limit. “If we are talking about making a second Switzerland out of Ukraine, it will take up to $ 700 billion,” the economist believes.
He also estimated the cost of “pulling up” Donbass to the level of Russian regions. According to the expert, this will require several tens of billions of dollars. He noted that the decrease in the number of residents in Donbass due to hostilities contributed to a decrease in the amount for its restoration, which turned into a “lifting one.”
