Lawyer Kletskin: Primorsky deputy Samsonov stopped hunger strike to pass the polygraph 
, since the investigation agreed to conduct a polygraph test. This was announced by his lawyer Aleksey Kletskin, Interfax reports.
“Today the investigator got acquainted with the documents, from which it follows that they actually granted our request for interrogation using a polygraph. In this regard, Artyom began to withdraw from the hunger strike, “the lawyer said.
Kletskin added that Samsonov decided to stop this form of protest, since the hunger strike is a contraindication for testing using a lie detector, the device may show distorted reactions .
The lawyer also said that the defense will appeal against the decision of the Frunzensky District Court of Vladivostok, which chose the deputy as a preventive measure in the form of detention until January 17, 2022.
A criminal case was opened against Samsonov. the case under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Other actions of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed against a person under 14 years of age.” The investigation believes that the deputy, being two years ago on the territory of a recreation center in Vladivostok, showed a dildo to an 11-year-old child and told about the purpose of this object.
Samsonov was detained on November 17. As a sign of disagreement with the investigative actions, the defendant went on a hunger strike.
