Foreign Ministry spokesman Zakharova: there have been changes for the better in US-Russian relations
In Russia, in addition to difficulties, there have been changes for the better. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
On the air of Radio Russia, Zakharova said that the negotiation process continues, including on the issue of strategic security. She highlighted the joint resolution on cybersecurity adopted by the UN General Assembly. According to her, a couple of months ago no one would have believed that Russia and the United States would jointly offer such a program document.
Zakharova blames the American side for the continuing problems. “Yes, we still have a global visa issue, this is not even a question, but a problem that was provoked by our American partners, and a lot of other issues remain unresolved,” she said.
In October it was reported that Russia and the United States submitted to the UN General Assembly a joint resolution on cybersecurity. The document proposed introducing not only voluntary rules of responsible behavior, but also certain mandatory rules.
