The head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin will soon announce the continuation of work

It was in a conversation with reporters on Komment.Show that Karpin admitted that he could leave the national team ahead of schedule. Then he said that he needed time to think.
The Russian national team led by Karpin completed the qualifying tournament for the 2022 World Cup in second place in the group. In the decisive match, the Russian footballers lost to Croatia with a minimum score. Karpin's defender Fyodor Kudryashov sent the only goal in the match into his own goal.
Karpin became the leader of the Russian national team in July. The specialist agreement is calculated until the end of December.
