The border committee of Belarus: Poland and Lithuania tried to expel 490 migrants per day a total of about 490 migrants. This was announced on Saturday, November 20, in the Telegram channel by the State Border Committee of Belarus.
“Lithuanian security forces tried to squeeze nine groups into Belarus, totaling more than 140 people, Polish – 12 groups, about 350 people,” the report says.
At least 20 more refugees tried to squeeze out to Belarus from the territory of Latvia … In general, the situation on the borders of the republic with the countries of the European Union continues to remain tense, the department noted.
The border committee said that on the territory of Poland, near the Belarusian border, in difficult conditions, two groups of refugees, numbering 110 people, are being held, among them there are women and children. On the Latvian and Lithuanian directions – one group each, more than 30 people in total.
The republican border department noted that all these migrants do not consider Belarus as a country for further stay, do not want to move to its territory and are going to proceed further to Europe to obtain refugee status.
Earlier it was reported that Polish and Belarusian border guards had a fight at the border of the two countries at the moment when migrants tried to cross it illegally. The video was posted on his Twitter account by Belarusian journalist Tadeusz Gichan. The footage shows how the Polish border guard calls their Belarusian colleagues “kurvami” (kurwa, translated from Polish as “whore”). “You yourself are a bitch! (…) Curva ******, *****! ” – they answer him in Russian.
On November 16, migrants gathered at the border tried to tear down the fences and threw stones and sticks at the Polish military, who responded with tear gas, water cannons and flash-noise grenades. As a result of the incident, migrants and journalists were injured.
