Bloomberg columnist Bershidsky: Russia's invasion of Ukraine will destroy Nord Stream 2

“Nord Stream 2 will certainly be destroyed if Russia launches a full-scale attack on Ukraine,” the journalist writes.
He also suggested that a “smaller-scale operation” of the Russian Federation could delay the launch of the gas pipeline, which Washington would certainly take advantage of. “The United States would gain time and receive convincing arguments for its almost lost battle with the Russian gas pipeline,” the observer believes.
Bershidsky concluded that Moscow does not intend to “unleash a war”, as it is interested in economic cooperation with Europe.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on November 14, in a conversation with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau, called the migration crisis on the border between Poland and Belarus an attempt to divert the attention of Western countries from Russia's actions on the border with Ukraine.
Russia has consistently denied accusations of aggression against Ukraine. In the Federation Council, Blinken's statements about Russian aggression were called a lie, and the United States was blamed for all modern conflicts.
