Auto lawyers Panchenko and Slavnov: for a downed animal on the road faces a fine or deprivation of rights Russians about punishment for animals shot down on the track. The driver in such a situation faces a fine of 200 to 80,000 rubles, writes URA.RU.

Panchenko recalled that all animals belong to hunting grounds, therefore, in the event of an incident with them, damage is directly caused to the site. For wolves or foxes knocked down on the road, a fine of 200-300 rubles is assumed, and for an elk – 80,000 rubles.

“Is the animal in the red book, there is no particular difference for the order that regulates fines, because the damage was done to the state. All animals that do not have physical or legal owners belong to the state. If you leave the scene of an accident, then the motorist will be deprived of his license from a year to one and a half years, or arrest for up to 15 days, “the specialist emphasized.

Slavnov added that in the event of an accident with a forest animal, first of all, the traffic police should be called to record the damage to the car and the downed animal, and then contact the forest protection.

“If the driver left the scene of the accident after the accident, then by Article 12.27, part 2, he will face from a year to one and a half years of deprivation of rights, “- said the auto lawyer.

Earlier, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin, suspected of illegal hunting, announced his desire to buy a moose and release it into the wild in the Saratov region. He called the increase in the number of wild artiodactyls near the village of Lysye Gory as his task.

On the night of October 28-29, a police officer with an employee of the local hunting committee stopped Rashkin's car in the Saratov region. In the trunk, they found the corpse of an elk. At first, the communist said that he saw the carcass of an animal, after which he wanted to hand it over to law enforcement officers. Later, he himself confessed to killing the animal. Rashkin faces a prison sentence of three to five years.
