Immunologist Kryuchkov: the production of maximum antibodies depends on the vaccine and the scheme of its administration schemes of its introduction. This was stated by the Russian doctor-immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov, his words are quoted by “Moscow 24”.
“It is one thing when we inject [the second component] in 14 days, it is another thing if after 21 days. In the latter case, say, the probability that the level of antibodies reaches the maximum level is higher, “the specialist explained.
Another condition for the production of maximum antibodies, the expert called the age of a person – people under 60 produce more antibodies than in the elderly. However, according to him, it is important that there are no chronic diseases or immunodeficiency.
He added that the higher the antibody titer, the more protection against coronavirus, but the maximum level has not yet been established.
Earlier, Nikolai Kryuchkov spoke about the disappearance of antibodies in COVID-19 patients. According to the specialist, ten percent of those who have undergone coronavirus do not produce enough antibodies to protect themselves from infection.
