Deputy Mayor of Moscow Rakov: 25-30 children with COVID-19 are hospitalized daily in the capital
25-30 children with coronavirus infection. This number of patients with COVID-19 was named by the deputy mayor of the capital Anastasia Rakova in an interview with Russia-24, TASS reports.
Rakova noted that with the arrival of a new delta strain of coronavirus, children became more ill. Earlier, according to the Deputy Mayor, hospitalization of children was a rare case, but now it is more and more common.
“Now we hospitalize from 25 to 30 children with covid a day – these are already such significant numbers,” Rakova summed up .
Earlier, Rakova spoke about the clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine for adolescents “Sputnik M”. The drug was given to 400 minors. The Russian vaccine has shown its safety.
