The immunologist named the number of spikes in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia until the end of spring

Immunologist Kryuchkov: One or two outbreaks of COVID-19 incidence are expected by the end of spring until the end of spring. This number was named by the doctor-immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov, he is quoted by TASS.

“According to my optimistic forecasts, I think that the global stabilization of the situation with the coronavirus, when the pandemic still remains, but will not be such an acute problem for Russia, it will happen just by the end of spring 2022, “he said.

Kryuchkov called the coming months a difficult period in the fight against COVID-19. He added that the non-working days introduced throughout the country helped stabilize the situation with coronavirus in Russia. At the same time, the rate of decline in incidence, in his opinion, is insufficient.

The specialist stressed that the decline in incidence in the future will not be so serious. He suggested that the number of detected new cases of COVID-19 per day will range from 25 to 30 thousand.

Earlier, the Russian virologist Chepurnov shared his concern about the development of the pandemic. According to him, in the future, the recombination of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is possible, as a result of which an even more terrible virus may arise. In the worst-case scenario, COVID-19 will remain with the person forever, he believes.
