The European Union condemned Russia for testing a rocket in space

Borrell: Russia's testing of anti-satellite weapons is an act of irresponsible behavior weapons. His words are reported by TASS.

The European Union called such tests a clear act of irresponsible behavior in outer space.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the tests of the rocket in space on November 16. The inoperative Tselina-D spacecraft, which had been in orbit since 1982, was struck. The Ministry of Defense assured that the satellite wreckage does not pose a threat to the International Space Station and other satellites.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu confirmed the tests, announcing the “jewelry” defeat of the old satellite.

NATO later called testing a reckless act, which is evidence of the development of new weapons systems in Russia.
