Less than 30 percent interest increased in finishing work (28 percent), kitchen renovation (25 percent) and balcony glazing (23 percent).

According to analysts, demand is most active among Russian cities for repairs during this period increased among residents of Rostov-on-Don (by 37 percent), below are Saratov (by 33 percent), Surgut (by 31 percent) and Krasnoyarsk (by 30 percent). Experts noted that along with demand, the average cost of repair and construction services also increased – by 11 percent. Such dynamics was explained by the increase in prices for building materials.

In August 2021, Russian Standard Bank conducted a study in which it determined that in 2021 Russians began to actively take out loans for housing repairs – the increased demand was explained by the mortgage boom for the background of declining rates. On average, owners began to borrow 270 thousand rubles for a new finish.
