Russian tourist spoke about the old infrastructure at thermal springs in Sukhum
Russian woman visited thermal hot springs in Kandyg in Sukhum (Abkhazia) and expressed ambiguity opinion of a popular tourist destination. She shared her opinion on her personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.
As the woman said, the entrance to the source costs 200 rubles per person for the whole day, a parking space for a car and a left-luggage office are paid additionally – 50 rubles for each service. The toilet also turned out to be paid – 10 rubles per trip. Inside the complex there are three swimming pools with different water temperatures from 35 to 45 degrees.
First of all, the traveler complained about the neglect of the springs – the infrastructure was very old and shabby. She also noted the dirt on the territory and the silt-covered iron steps to the pools.
In addition, she did not like that the place was not designed for a large number of tourists – many did not have enough lockers for storing things and had to hide their bags under bench.
“I believe that the owners of the sources act on the principle“ we are happy with everything, but you don’t like it – look for other places for entertainment ”. And this is a bad approach, ”the tourist said.
Earlier in November, a Russian rested in Abkhazia and was outraged by the behavior of“ greedy hucksters ”who offer tourists to take pictures with birds and animals for money. According to him, such a business is largely thriving thanks to the irresponsibility of vacationers, who continue to take pictures with exhausted animals.
