Politico: US to allow COVID-19 booster shots for all adults 
On November 19, US Social Services plans to allow booster shots with a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine to all adults in the country. This is reported by Politico, citing sources.
It is noted that this decision will make revaccination available for millions of Americans, which is especially important on the eve of the winter holidays. The drug will be used from Pfizer and BioNTech, as well as Moderna.
The US administration expressed concern about the increase in the number of infections in the country. Prior to this decision, only vulnerable groups of the population were supposed to be boosted.
Earlier, the CEO of the American company Pfizer, Albert Burla, said that revaccination against coronavirus infection would be required approximately every year. He noted that it is necessary to monitor the condition of people who have received a booster vaccine after six months, in order to understand when their level of protection will decrease and they will need a new dose of vaccine.
