In St. Petersburg, a 90-year-old woman received a pension from fraudsters with tickets of the “joke bank”. This was reported by the radio station “Moscow speaking”.
According to her, the money was delivered to her by couriers of the Russian Post. An elderly Russian woman found out that the bills were fake when she was paying for purchases in the store. The cashier at Pyaterochka returned the woman a counterfeit banknote of five thousand rubles.
It is emphasized that the amount of damage amounted to 457 thousand rubles. Police officers confiscated 95 “tickets” with a face value of five thousand and 13 receipts from the pensioner.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of fraud.
