In Moscow, in Gostiny Dvor, the studio“ Knowledge. Transport”. For three days, 17 speakers addressed the students of transport universities and novice specialists. These are representatives of the government and the Ministry of Transport of Russia, heads of the largest companies in the industry, scientists and experts. The invited experts discussed the transport of the future and the latest technologies.

“Development of infrastructure, stable operation of the country's main arteries are the basis for stability and economic growth. Therefore, in the work of the studio, we tried to discuss different aspects of the functioning of the transport industry, to show our listeners – forum visitors, students of transport universities – the wide range of problems facing it. We also talked about current problems and breakthrough technologies. We are glad that young people who come to implement these projects in the near future can receive new knowledge and experience in this format from industry leaders, experts and managers in the field of transport, “said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Knowledge Society.

The first guest in the studio was the Russian Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, who outlined one of the urgent tasks – to provide all regions with an additional mode of transport, in addition to air travel. For example, in the Far East and North of Russia there are zones that can be reached only by plane, and in the coming years, residents of these regions need to be offered alternative transport networks. The solution to this issue, like many others, is included in the transport strategy until 2030 with a forecast until 2035.

Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev added that the new strategy also focuses on new travel opportunities.

“For the first time, the strategy describes multimodal or combined transportation – by train, bus or comfortable high-speed courts. This will allow the development of a huge country with a unique geographic location and transport potential. The strategy is aimed at using the full scientific potential, taking into account modern technologies. Transport is the basis for the development of the entire economy, “he said.

The head of Avtodor, Vyacheslav Petushenko, outlined the priority tasks facing the road workers. Andrey Nikulin, First Deputy General Director for Production at Sheremetyevo International Airport, spoke about plans for a 10-year period. The speech of Igor Milashevsky, General Director of GLONASS, was dedicated to navigation technologies and their capabilities. Vladislav Onishchenko, President of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation, spoke about the digital revolution in the transport industry.
