Aeroflot launches record longest flight for Russia

Aeroflot's flight from Moscow to Cancun, launched in November, became the longest in Russia

a long flight in the route network of the Russian airline “Aeroflot”. This was reported on the official website of the carrier.

It is specified that flights SU0158 and SU0159, launched on November 18, will be operated three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. As noted by the Frequently Flyers portal, at the moment the flight to the Mexican resort is the longest among all the flights of domestic airlines.

The actual distance between the airports is more than 10 thousand kilometers, travel time reaches 13 hours 15 minutes. This is half an hour longer than the previous record-long Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Los Angeles.

For the comfort of passengers, the aircraft is equipped with on-board Wi-Fi, ergonomic seats and a multimedia entertainment system.

Previously in October, the Russian airline Azur Air operated the first ever charter flight from Vladivostok to Egypt. Its duration was 12 hours 25 minutes. The first passengers were 332 tourists.
