In the afternoon earlier, 37,374 infections were recorded in the country.
Most of the new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Moscow (3371), St. Petersburg (2714) and in the Moscow region (1777). Least of all – in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (17 cases), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (21 cases) and the Republic of Kalmykia (34 cases).
1,254 patients with COVID-19 died per day. In total, 261,589 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic.
The daily rate of recovery was 37,004, the total – 7,956,254.
According to the headquarters on November 12, herd immunity in Russia rose to 49 percent. 57,961,578 people have been vaccinated with two components of the COVID-19 vaccine.
