XIII century. This is reported by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” with reference to the head of the local Museum of History and Archeology Rasim Kadyrov.

According to him, the find was made during the reconstruction of the city stadium. Buried remains were found at the site, as well as five gravestones with Arabic inscriptions.

“We invited specialists so that they could attribute them to us. Judging by the inscription, it turned out that these are the earliest of the identified Muslim gravestones on the territory of Crimea. They date back to 1285, “Kadyrov said.

Currently, the gravestones have already become exhibits of the museum. At the same time, archaeological excavations continue at the site of the stadium's reconstruction – construction work will resume in 2020.

In October, an ancient necropolis was discovered in the Kaliningrad region during the construction of a section of the Primorsky ring. As noted, the found burials date back to the III-VII centuries AD. In total, about 2 thousand graves of men, women and children were found on the territory of the necropolis.
