That is, there was a hunt in an unprohibited period of time where it has always been carried out. Therefore, I told Rashkin: “Then write a statement to the Investigative Committee, tell me that you, as a deputy, are taking off your immunity and are ready to give any testimony,” Zyuganov said.
He noted that Rashkin was not interferes with the investigation, does not hide and does not run anywhere. At the same time, the party continues its internal investigation, the chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation specified.
In conclusion, he commented on the hype surrounding the incident: according to Zyuganov, the massacre is not against Rashkin, but against the party. “But as for the plot with pleasure, he will answer for it properly,” the politician emphasized.
Earlier on November 18, Rashkin published a video message in which he confessed to killing an elk in the Saratov region. According to the deputy, his friends stated that they have all the necessary permits for hunting. He believes that unknown people took advantage of the absence of documents and allegedly staged a provocation against him.
On November 17, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov submitted to the State Duma a proposal to deprive Rashkin of his parliamentary immunity. This issue will be considered on November 22 or 23.
On the night of October 29, the deputy's car was stopped in the Saratov region by a policeman with an employee of the local hunting committee. They found a dead moose in the trunk. Rashkin himself said that he saw the carcass of an animal and wanted to hand it over to law enforcement officers.
