The truth surfaced after the girls passed a DNA test. It turned out that one of the sisters was confused at birth and sent to another family. Adriana's real twin sister turned out to be Noratira (Atira) Husin, who grew up in another family living in Pantai Kundor district.

Having learned the truth, the confused girls decided to change their surnames. At the same time, Atira decided that she would continue to live with the family in which she grew up. She stressed that she will always have a warm relationship with her biological family.

“Now I continue to study at one of the universities in Kota Bharu. In my free time, I go to visit my real mother, City Amina Mod Ismail, and my twin sister Adriyani Ivani, ”Atira said.

Atira and Ariyana decided to change their names and submitted a corresponding application to the National Registration Office. Local authorities approved the application and agreed to correct the information on their birth certificates and passports. Noratira Khusin became Atira Ivani Ibeni Yanin, and Adriana Ivani Ibeni Yanin became Adriana Khusin.
