Russian minister jailed for five years for child molestation

Former acting Minister of Education of the Arkhangelsk Region was convicted of child molestation

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Arkhangelsk sentenced the former Acting Minister of Education of the Arkhangelsk Region Yuri Gnedyshev, accused of child molestation. This was reported by TASS.

The official was sentenced to five years and one month in prison. He will serve time in a strict regime colony. The court found him guilty of committing indecent acts against minors and distribution of pornography on the Internet.

During the investigation, he pleaded guilty to a crime.
