Rostov region signed agreements for 84 billion rubles at “Transport of Russia-2021”

“A system of modern high-speed tramway traffic will be created in the Don capital, which will connect the city center with the developing microdistricts of Rostov. More than 120 kilometers of the tram network will be modernized or rebuilt, a modern urban rail electric transport infrastructure will be created and new rolling stock purchased, “said the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev, who emphasized that the project is primarily aimed at improving the comfort of citizens.
According to experts, the project will require 51.18 billion rubles of investments. It is assumed that there will be several sources of funding. In addition to the investor's funds, the project will include funds from an infrastructure loan, as well as funds from the state development corporation VEB.RF and the National Welfare Fund.
