According to her, the police were suspended from work due to detention in the framework of the case of abuse of office. If their guilt is proven, they will be fired from the internal affairs bodies.
Earlier it became known that the head of the operational-investigative unit of the internal security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Trans-Baikal Territory Sergey Tokhsyrov and his subordinate demanded that one of the employees carry out some illegal actions, threatening negative consequences.
On November 18, they were detained by the FSB. A criminal case was opened against the police under Article 286 (Excess of Official Powers) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. At the moment, the head and subordinate have been detained for 48 hours.
It is noteworthy that Tokhsyrov's predecessor, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Nedelkin, was also detained by the FSB for excess. He was suspected of stealing seized expensive mobile phones.
