Gryzlov commented on Putin's decree on Donbass

Boris Gryzlov: Putin's decree on Donbass is a forced response to Kiev's actions (LPR and DPR) – Moscow's forced response to Kiev's actions. Such a commentary was given by Boris Gryzlov, plenipotentiary in the contact group for resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine, RIA Novosti writes.

According to him, Kiev's actions are aimed at escalating the conflict. Moreover, they actually fall under the UN Convention on the Prevention of Genocide.

Gryzlov noted the need for the Ukrainian authorities to fulfill their settlement obligations. “The purposeful escalation of the conflict by Ukraine is a dead end, from which there is no way out,” concluded the Russian plenipotentiary.

In turn, Senator from Crimea Sergey Tsekov said that the decree of the head of state for the LPR and DPR would allow them to provide real assistance and use their economic potential.

On November 15, Vladimir Putin ordered to ensure equal conditions for the access of goods from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics to participate in public procurement. Thus, goods produced in Donbass must be admitted to state purchases on a par with Russian ones.
