The Foreign Ministry noted that such a step is contrary to diplomatic rules and customs. “Germany and France have been working hard for several months to continue negotiations and implement a specific agenda for peace based on the Minsk agreements,” the ministry stressed.
The ministry drew attention to the fact that Paris and Berlin presented several specific proposals for a meeting at the ministerial level in the “Normandy format” by agreement between the acting.
