Border Guard of Poland: 79 Belarusian oppositionists entered the country within 24 hours
The Polish authorities received dozens of Belarusian oppositionists who are looking for protection on the territory of the country within 24 hours. This was stated by the press secretary of the Polish Border Guard, Anna Mikhalskaya, reports TASS.
According to a representative of the service, 79 Belarusian oppositionists entered Poland in 24 hours seeking help. “These persons have applied for international protection or declared that they will submit such applications in the near future,” she said. According to Mikhalskaya, some of the citizens crossed the border on humanitarian visas.
