Rinat Khanafeev: I brought a personal exhibition to the republic, I decided to return to my homeland (“Return”). A painter from Chistopol, who lived in the Kyrgyz Republic for a long time, spoke about his desire to return to his origins in an interview with IA “Tatar-inform”.
The artist said that he moved with his family to Kyrgyzstan when he my father was offered a job there. At that time, Khanafeev was seven years old. “There I graduated from school, an art school, worked as a theater artist, became a member of the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan,” he added, noting that he once arrived in his native Chistopol for an open air and he liked it there. – This is my homeland. Speaking about the author of the works presented at the exhibition, the first deputy chairman of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan Mudaris Mingazov named Khanafeev a world-renowned painter. “In Kyrgyzstan, he is a very famous artist, a participant in many large exhibitions,” he stressed.
It is noted that the exhibition will feature 43 works by Khanafeev. Mingazov noted that more paintings would not fit into the hall's exposition.
Earlier it was reported that the traditional annual exhibition of children's drawings “The Beauty of God's World” began work at the Museum and Exhibition Center of the Trans-Baikal Territory on November 16. This year, the theme was the era of the reign of Peter I through the eyes of children. The show was the result of the competition of the same name, which took place as part of the regional stage of the XXX International Christmas Educational Readings dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Peter I.
