The heads of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Britain declared their unwillingness to “strategically surround” Russia 
Great Britain and Ukraine have renounced their desire to be at enmity with Russia. This is stated in a joint statement by Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov and his British colleague Ben Wallace, RIA Novosti reports.
The heads of departments noted that Kiev and London do not want to be hostile to Moscow, to try in any way ” strategically surround or undermine “it. At the same time, Reznikov and Wallace stressed that their countries are concerned about the strengthening of the military presence and military activity of Russia on the border with Ukraine. It is noted that the British Defense Secretary is now on an official visit to Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy talked to Wallace. During the conversation, the parties discussed the international steps necessary to restore safe navigation in the Black and Azov Seas. In addition, the Ukrainian leader noted the importance of signing a Ukrainian-British bilateral framework agreement on credit support for the development of the capabilities of the Ukrainian fleet in the amount of £ 1.7 billion.
