RBC: the majority of Russians supported the reduction of the working day to 7 hours in autumn and winter
one hour in autumn and winter. This idea was supported by 56 percent of the country's residents. This is reported by RBC with reference to a study of the SuperJob service.
According to the survey, 27 percent of those surveyed opposed the seven-hour working day, and 17 percent found it difficult to give an answer. It is noted that men reacted more categorically to this initiative: 31 percent voted against. The majority of respondents (67 percent) also said that, despite the reduction in working hours, they could do the usual amount of work.
At the same time, employers were critical of the transition to a seven-hour working day. According to the survey, only four percent of companies allowed a reduction in working hours in the autumn and winter.
Earlier, almost half of Russians admitted that they work worse with the arrival of cold weather. “The working capacity of Russians changes with the onset of the cold season – working capacity decreases, it becomes more difficult to get up in the morning, there is a sluggishness and lack of energy,” says the report of the Research Center of the Zarplata.ru service. It is also indicated that 43 percent of Russians begin to work poorly with the arrival of winter. Most of the respondents noted faster fatigue at subzero temperatures (39 percent), drowsiness (29 percent), inability to wake up in the morning due to darkness (15 percent), apathy due to a long lack of sun (11 percent), worsening depression (6 percent) .
