ATOR: there are cafes, restaurants, massage parlors and cinemas in Phuket Thai resort after border opening. They shared the information with the specialists of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
It is noted that despite the closure of some cafes and restaurants due to the pandemic, numerous catering outlets continue to serve visitors almost anywhere on the island. In addition, in Phuket, unlike Pattaya, the sale of alcohol is allowed. Night bars and clubs of the resort are still closed, but the establishments on the famous tourist street Bangla Road are open until 23:00.
Massage salons and beauty clinics continue to receive tourists – according to them, the cost of services is currently at a very low level. Mini markets, shopping malls and cinemas are also open to the public.
Popular tourist attractions available to travelers include Wat Chalong Temple, Big Buddha, Karon Viewpoint, Mai Khao Beach. In addition, Russians can go on boat trips to the islands administratively related to the province of Phuket: Racha and Rang Yai islands.
Since November 1, Russians vaccinated by Sputnik V can come to Thailand without quarantine, but with mandatory stay within the established 17 provinces for seven nights. Thus, tourists must register in advance in the new ThaiPass system, upload there a vaccination certificate, hotel reservation data with a SHA + certificate, information about medical insurance with coverage for at least 50 thousand dollars (3.5 million rubles) and a photo of a foreign passport.
