A Russian tourist talked about a budget vacation in Dahab for 60 thousand rubles for two for 60 thousand rubles for two. Her review was published by the portal “Subtleties of Tourism”.
The travel agency offered the traveler a trip to a four-star hotel for a week. “I thought it was (…) some kind of fraud. Suddenly, the tour operator will ask for an additional payment of 20 thousand rubles before departure. Or the hotel will turn out to be half-closed and barely alive, “she said about her fears.
In the words of the Russians, despite some of the hotel's shortcomings, on the whole she was delighted with the vacation. The author noted interesting excursions to the Colored Canyon and Dolphin Bay, a heated pool, excellent and high-quality food.
She was also pleased that at the hotel everyone followed the dress code at dinner. “I hate people who are in wet swimming trunks and with their ass in the sand going to a restaurant,” she said.
Nevertheless, the Russian woman listed several disadvantages of rest. The first thing that disappointed her was the problems communicating with the travel agent. The tourist said that the flight to the resort was postponed for half a day, about which she was warned only a day in advance. In addition, she mentioned the long queues at the Egyptian airport and strict security checks.
“If everyone has already heard about this, then I don’t understand why then people drag so many things into their hand luggage, wear shoes with massive soles, heels or complicated lacing, “she said.
Earlier in October, analysts at the travel planning service OneTwoTrip listed budget destinations for holidays in Russian cities from December 30 to January 9. According to the results of the study, it is most profitable for residents of the capital to go to celebrate the New Year in St. Petersburg (airfare from 1250 rubles), Sochi (from 1300 rubles) and Kazan (from 1500 rubles).
