Earlier in Buryatia, pensioners without QR codes attacked a security guard and broke into a shopping center. Elderly Russian women came to shop, but the security guard did not let them in, demanding to present a mandatory QR code confirming the fact of vaccination or illness suffered over the past six months. In response, they began to shout that “QR code is not a Russian word” and rushed at the guard.
