The rarest deep-sea boar fish found on the beach

In England, a family walked along the coast and found a wild boar fish found the rarest deep-sea boar fish. This is reported by The Mirror.

Seven-year-old Ellie and five-year-old Lauren, while walking on the beach, showed a strange fish to their father Ziggy Austin, who is keen on oceanology. He stressed that he knew all types of fish that are often found off the coast, but this was the first time he had seen such a fish. “So I quickly took off my boots and socks and no doubt went into the water to fish it out. She looked like a goldfish, but with huge eyes. Apparently, she died no more than half an hour ago, “- said the Englishman.

The weather that day was calm, so it is unlikely that it was carried out by the waves. Apparently, the boar fish itself swam to the shore, although they usually swim in large schools at depth.

The fish could be killed by microplastics, which are contained in the ocean waters due to environmental pollution. The wild boar fish feeds on worms and shrimps, probably together with them microplastics got into its body.

Three such fish have already been found in three weeks. Other boar fish have been seen in the Isles of Scilly and Kimmeridge, Dorset. As a rule, no more than two such cases are recorded annually.

Earlier it was reported that on the beaches of the English metropolitan area of Teesside, located between the counties of Durham and North Yorkshire, thousands of sea creatures were found mysteriously washed ashore. Presumably, the cause of death was water pollution.
