If a woman dies or the adoption is canceled in relation to her, the rights to mother capital are transferred to children who have not reached the age of majority, or to adults studying full-time in an educational organization, until the end of such training, but no longer than 23 years.
In the near future, the bill will be submitted to the State Duma.
In 2021, the amount of maternity capital for the first child born on January 1, 2020 is 483,881 rubles. If a second child appears in the family (including one who was adopted), then the additional payment is 155,550 rubles.
