GizChina: 150 Watt charging will appear on smartphones soon This is reported by the GizChina edition.
Journalists refer to the reputable Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. In his social networks, the author predicted the emergence of a record charging for smartphones with a capacity of 150 watts or more. The specialist noted that phones with support for this technology should appear on the market in the near future.
Digital Chat Station did not name a specific manufacturer who is working on a device with such a charge. It will probably be one of the Chinese smartphone companies. According to journalists, at the moment the top-end is the standard that allows you to charge smartphones with a capacity of 120 watts. For example, batteries Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Iqoo 5 Pro are capable of charging up to one hundred percent in 15 minutes.
“The power of wired fast charging continues to grow, but the power of wireless charging seems to be at its peak,” the authors noted … In particular, Chinese regulators consider wireless charging more than 50 watts unsafe.
In July, Oppo announced the most powerful charger for smartphones. The new technology will provide up to 125 watts of power while charging the device.
